QUESTIONS FROM THE RAIL

Everything a Ghost needs before stepping through the Scar into the Echos — free entries, Souls prizes, and what’s actually happening behind the glowing overlays. Plain language. Player first.

How much free Sweat do I get?

Every Ghost gets a steady drip of free Sweat just for showing up and playing. Sweat is play-only energy — it never has cash value and never directly changes your odds of winning a Souls prize.

  • Daily login bonus: a fixed amount of Sweat every calendar day you claim.
  • Streak boosts: extra Sweat the first time you hit short and long login streaks.
  • Weekly activity bonus: more Sweat if you actually submit lineups that week.

The exact emission table (numbers, caps, and edge-case rules) lives in the Official Rules and the Free Entry page so it’s locked and transparent.

Is this real-money gambling?

GhostSweat runs as a promotional sweepstakes, not a real-money casino or DFS site.

  • Every Contest uses a random drawing to award Souls prizes.
  • Each eligible human gets a fixed number of entries per Contest.
  • Free entry is always available (plus a mail-in AMOE option).

We only operate in states where this structure is allowed. Some places are hard-blocked (for example NY / FL / WA / ID / MT / NV). Full eligibility details are in the Official Rules .

How many Contests can I play each week?

Scar-0 is built around a small, high-signal schedule that sits on top of live poker streams.

  • Weeknight Freerolls over regular streams.
  • Weekend MEGA Contests with larger Souls prize pools.

Exact days, start times, and prize tables are posted on the Game Mechanics page and inside the Official Rules. When the schedule changes, those two pages are the source of truth.

What are Souls? Do they turn into cash?

Souls are the sweepstakes prize currency for GhostSweat Contests.

  • You win Souls when your entry hits in the prize drawing.
  • Souls can be redeemed at a fixed rate for cash-equivalent payouts.
  • Payout methods (PayPal, Venmo, etc.) and minimum redemption amounts are listed in the Official Rules .

Lineups, Shard Points, and leaderboards are the fantasy “surface layer.” Souls are what drop on the other side of the Scar when your ticket is pulled.

Do better lineups win more money?

No. The money side is always decided by random drawing. Every valid entry in a Contest gets the same odds in the prize draw.

Strong lineups still matter — they drive your Shard Points, leaderboard clout, cosmetic flex, and future upgrades inside the Echos — but they don’t give you a better chance at a Souls prize in that Contest.

What are Genesis Auras?

The first wave of humans who tether into the Echos receive Genesis Auras — ultra-early account badges tied to your Ghost.

  • Limited run, numbered in order of arrival.
  • Permanent cosmetic status whenever your Ghost appears.
  • No pay-to-mint shortcut. You earn it by being early.

Exact supply and perks are listed on the Lore and Mechanics pages once final.

When does the store open? What are Forbidden Sweat packs?

The Forbidden Sweat store opens after Scar-0, once the core rails are stable. Packs are for extra lineups and cosmetics — not better odds.

  • You’ll always have a way to enter every Contest for free.
  • Buying extra Sweat only increases how many lineups you can build, not your draw weight per entry.
  • Pack prices, contents, and limits will be clearly posted before the store unlocks.

The Official Rules page and the Forbidden Sweat store page will always match on what packs do and don’t do.

Why does GhostSweat exist at all?

Live poker streams already feel like a movie. GhostSweat turns them into a playable world without turning into a grey-area casino.

  • Watch your favorite lineups battle on stream.
  • Hit real Souls prizes through clear, fixed drawings.
  • Build a Ghost identity that actually feels premium, not spammy.

If you’re already sweating every pot, this just gives the Echos something to pay you back with.

This FAQ is a player-level overview. If anything here ever feels different from the legal text, the Official Rules are the final word.
